Job Positions, Locations, and Reference Numbers:

Position: Administrator – Creditors (B5)
Salary: R24,264.25 per month
Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)
Location: Head Office

Eligibility:

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Financial Management, Cost and Management, Internal Auditing, Taxation, Accounting Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Creditors Administration role
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to work confidentially
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and under tight time frames

Requirements:

  • Prepare and process creditors invoices accurately and in a timely manner following standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a purchase order log for effective monitoring of purchase orders.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure timely payments to creditors.
  • Identify accruals and raise them at the end of each reporting period.
  • Review submissions from departments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Submit invoices to the Supply Chain department after review by the Specialist.
  • Follow up on outstanding queries and required documents with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain vendor master listing and process manual payments and petty cash documentation.
  • Track credit card expenses and provide staff training expenditure to HR.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for landlords’ payments according to lease contracts.
  • Explain processes and provide information to internal and external Auditors.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for easy accessibility.
