Position Overview

JOSHCO is seeking two dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Call Center Agents. As a Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for interacting with our valued customers, addressing inquiries related to our projects, products, and services, and ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.

Responsibilities

As a Call Center Agent at JOSHCO, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Answering incoming calls promptly, professionally, and politely.
  2. Providing clear and accurate information to customers, resolving issues efficiently.
  3. Managing departing tenants, processing deposits, and closing matters on the CRM system.
  4. Recording and maintaining customer queries and complaints on the Customer Relationship Management System.
  5. Ensuring compliance with all JOSHCO systems, including performance management, HR, finance, stakeholder information, property management, communications, and reporting.
  6. Collecting customer information, analyzing customer needs, making recommendations, and referring customers to the relevant departments.
  7. Preparing monthly reports by collecting and analyzing data on various matters.
  8. Contributing to the team’s efforts by meeting the stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  9. Attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions and providing information about available offerings.
  10. Maintaining customer records by updating the register on the CRM module.
  11. Conducting credit checks for potential tenants.
  12. Resolving product or customer problems by clarifying complaints, determining the cause of issues, and offering effective solutions.
  13. Recording every interaction with customers and potential customers in the CRM module on the Property Management System.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the position of Call Center Agent at JOSHCO, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4 with a minimum of 120 credits.
  • A Certificate in Call Centre/Reception or Office Administration will be an added advantage.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a Call Center environment.
  • Experience in MDA property management system is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Fluent in at least 2 African languages.
  • Experience in the social housing environment would be advantageous.
