Position 1: Youth Development – Provincial Office (Ref No: YD/EC/01)

  • Duration: 24 Months

  • Requirements: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Location: Eastern Cape Provincial Office – New Brighton

Position 2: Youth Development – Provincial Office (Ref No: YD/EC/01)

  • Duration: 24 Months
  • Stipend: Varies based on qualification (see details below)
  • Requirements: National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Honours, or Master’s Degree in Public Management, Public Administration, Office Administration.
  • Locations: Lusikisiki (Ref No: YD/EC/02), Sturkspruit (Ref No: YD/EC/03)

Position 3: TVET Internship – Administration or Human Resource Management

  • Duration: 18 Months
  • Stipend: Up to R4,500 per month
  • Requirements: N6 in Management Assistant, Public Management, Public Administration, Business Management/Human Resource Management.
  • Locations: Various Eastern Cape Provincial Office Centers (see details below)

Stipend Structure:

The stipends for these positions vary depending on your qualification:

  • National Diploma: Up to R5,000 per month
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Up to R5,500 per month
  • Postgraduate Diploma/Professional Qualification: Up to R6,500 per month
  • Honors Degree: Up to R6,500 per month
  • All 4 years and Professional degrees: Up to R7,000 per month
  • Master’s Degree: Up to R7,500 per month

Who Should Apply?

These internship opportunities are open to unemployed South African graduates and TVET students who have not previously participated in any internship program or in-service training. The internships are available in various fields of study and are based in all provinces. Candidates applying outside their respective provinces must arrange their own accommodation, as stipends are provided in lieu of a salary.

Please note that successful candidates will be placed in positions related to youth development for either 18 months (TVET students) or 24 months (graduate students), with stipends based on their qualifications.
